American Airlines Offer First-Class Passengers Galaxy Tabs

First-class travelers on American Airlines now have yet another reason to feel even more special. According to Mashable’s Todd Wasserman, the airline is selectively scrapping its current entertainment system and replacing it with the Wi-Fi-enabled tablets. Wi-Fi To Surpass Wired Network Traffic By 2015

For the first time, Cisco released a report that explicitly breaks down Wi-Fi traffic, both where it’s been, and where it’s going. According to the “global IP traffic forecast,” Wi-Fi devices will overtake wired devices in bandwidth usage for the first time in 2015. Wi-Fi will take up about 46 percent of all Internet traffic by that time. READ MORE »
