Dan Berger and Matt Tendler, co-founders of Social Tables, have big plans when it comes to their forty-day-old event planning website. Their idea is simple. It’s not easy to strike up conversation with a complete stranger. So why not make it possible for guests to acquaint themselves with their tablemates before an event even begins? Social Tables allows invitees to see and contact one another with the effect, Berger and Tendler hope, of making events more enjoyable. The site launched on May 10th, and Berger said that since then they have helped 800 users organize 200 events. READ MORE
