Apple released a new 21.5-inch iMac specifically designed for educational institutions Monday. The new model costs $999, or about $200 less than the other iMac models. The new education-only iMac has a few fewer features than regular models, such as Apple’s new Thunderbolt port. It runs on OS X Lion and comes with an Intel Dual-Core i3 processor, a 250-GB harddrive and 2 GB of RAM. READ MORE
