Calling it a “living magazine” for the iPad, Yahoo has launched Livestand, an app that lets users personalize their news-reading experience. Rovio to Open Angry Birds Stores in China

How OpenTable Made $34 Million Last Quarter

OpenTable is a rare tech industry survivor. The service, which matches diners with available restaurant reservations was founded in 1998, survived the dot-com bust of a decade ago and launched a successful IPO in 2009. Going public means, well, being public, so it’s public knowledge that the company had revenues of more than $34 million in the last quarter. New App Lets Apple Shoppers Bypass Salespeople

On  Thursday, Apple stores worldwide will get a radical makeover, in conjunction with Apple’s new Apple Store app. First, customers who order Apple products online will be able to pick them up at an Apple store within 12 minutes of completing the order.
