Apple and Samsung Patent Battle Gets Ugly

Apple, which has been pretty successful in blocking Samsung phone sales in the Dutch region, has a new wrinkle to contend with: Samsung has been making slight modifications to the devices, which effectively remove the patents that Apple says the company has violated. This workaround means Samsung is now free to sell its phones without running into the roadblock of Apple’s patent-infringement accusations. The company could potentially do the same for its tablets.
