More businesspeople are now using iPhones than BlackBerry smart phones. That’s according to an iPass survey of more than 2,300 enterprise workers for its latest quarterly Mobile Workforce Report ^[1]. iPass found the iPhone is being used by 45% of the business crowd—that’s up from 31% last year.

Now in second place, RIM’s Blackberry has a 32% share of that market, down slightly from 35% last year.

Android came in third with a 21 percent share among those polled, surpassing Nokia’s Symbian platform.

iPass, which is an enterprise mobility services company headquartered in Redwood Shores, Calif., says BlackBerry’s descent is not necessarily a sign that RIM has grown out of favor in the enterprise, but probably reflects the increasing number of smartphone choices on the market.
