A School Called “Steve Jobs”

How would you like to tell prospective employers that you studied at the school of Steve Jobs? Apparently it sounds like a good idea [1] to students at a technology school in Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second largest city.

Currently the school is named for Vladimir Lenin, but in celebration of its approaching 50th birthday, the school is planning to change its name. In a vote as to what the new name should be, the frontrunner, by a wide margin is “Steve Jobs.” Although some traditionalists maintain it should be named for a Bulgarian innovator rather than a foreign one.
