If you need to do some market research but don’t have the resources to pull off an expensive study, there’s a new tool called SurveyBuilder created by California-based uSamp that might be able to help you create a statistically valid survey and get meaningful responses to it, maybe even for free.
You can either use the platform to invite and engage your own pool of respondents, or you can pay to have access to the 6.5 million poll takers around the world on uSamp’s payroll. As you manage the results in real time using SurveyBuilder you can download and share them with others.
Although there are other survey tools on the market, this one was designed to make survey authoring easy, fast and affordable for businesses of all sizes. You can use the tool to survey your own audience for free, increase your costs a bit by mixing your population with uSamp’s respondent pool, or, if you don’t have an audience to survey you can strictly buy input from uSamp survey takers for your entire project.
And it seems to work quickly.
Dolly Couture, a wedding dress retailer with shops in Los Angeles and New York City, set up a survey and sent it to 300 targeted and qualified respondents in only 20 minutes. Since it came to bat without its own pool of survey takers, Dolly Couture bought them from uSamp and it cost $1,500.
It it worth it? You be the judge. More information is at SurveyBuilder.
