Mozilla and Microsoft Team Up for Firefox with Bing

Mozilla [1] has been expanding its social network. The company has just announced a special release of Firefox with Bing search. This means that users can opt to make Bing their default search engine. Part of a revenue-sharing agreement with Microsoft [2], the new build is available for download from a Microsoft-hosted site.
Although Firefox with Bing sets Bing as the default search engine, users can also install the Bing Search for Firefox add-on for the same results, says Ars technica’s Ryan Paul. This news is part of Mozilla’s new strategy, which has seen it make some interesting and unexpected tie-ins such as Firefox with Twitter, for example.
