ReTargeter.com recently released a social media retargeting platform called ReTargeter Social that helps brands target their biggest online advocates, find key influencers and embed social media content into ads.
Retargeting involves placing a cookie on the computers of people who visit your site. Then as they continue browsing the Web, you can serve them ads. It’s like following around someone who took an interest in your brand as a way to convert him or her into a customer.It lets you segment out the top social influencers who are engaged with your brand and retarget them with specific ads and rewards. For instance, you can hit them with messages like “ReTweet this and win” or “Like us on Facebook and get 20% off.”
ReTargeter Social also uses a unique algorithm to help you identify, reach and retarget key social influencers and their audiences. It works by indexing the top Twitter users within an industry and serving them a combination of e-mail and display advertising.
It can also take your static online banner ads and make them interactive by including a live Twitter feed, or Facebook wall posts, videos, polls or forum comments.
ReTargeter says it only takes a few clicks and two lines of code to implement its Social platform. If you already have creative to use, you can be up and running in under an hour.
It starts at $500 a month and includes the cost of the ads, as well as the ReTargeter fee.
