Can You Hear Us Now? HTC Goes All-Out For Mango Launch

One of the criticisms leveled at the Windows Phone 7 platform is that its announcement wasn’t much of an announcement. We in the tech press may have heard about it to death, but the general phone-buying public didn’t get the message. Apparently the folks at HTC are taking this criticism very seriously–they’re making sure no one misses the Windows Phone 8 (Mango) launch. Their efforts so far have included a video on the French homepage of YouTube, a full-page ad in a London Newspaper, and a billboard in Paris that’s literally as big as the building it’s sitting on.
What will they do in the United States?
