If you use an Apple mobile device, you’ll want to make note of this deal. Cloud storage provider Box.net has announced it’s giving 50GB of free online storage to anyone with a free Box Personal account on an iOS device, reports 9to5Mac. That’s ten times the amount you get with iCloud, there are no strings attached and the cloud storage space is yours to keep forever for free.
You can use the storage to safekeep your photos, documents, music, videos and other content on the cloud, and you can access your files anywhere there’s a network connection.
The promotion starts today and runs for 50 days. To get the free storage, visit the Apple App Store and download the Box app [1] for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Log in to your account or register for a new one directly from the app, and voilà—you’re ready to save all your stuff online and share it with others, as well.
Box.net also updated its iOS client with new features, including AirPlay wireless streaming of photos, videos, presentations and other assets. It also recently announced integration with Google Docs.
