Steve Jobs Biography Moves Up Release Date to Oct. 24

The book was originally set for November, but the publisher hopes to capitalize off the news of Jobs' death.

The upcoming and long-awaited Steve Jobs biography will be out Oct. 24, several weeks ahead of its original November release date. The publisher, Simon & Schuster, wants to capitalize off the buzz surrounding Jobs’ death yesterday.The book, Steve Jobs, had already attracted a great deal of attention, and reached No. 1 Amazon’s best-sellers list and No. 3 on Barnes and Noble’s. It’s written by former Time managing editor Walter Isaacson and was authorized by Jobs — a notable victory for Isaacson, who’s also written biographies of Albert Einstein and Ben Franklin.
