Amazon-owned Quidsi [1] is the e-retailer that can’t be stopped. A few months ago, it bought Wag.com [2], a decision that raised eyebrows [3]: The online pet-goods market has devoured more than a few. Now Quidsi has launched YoYo.com, and will move from dog bowls to Legos. YoYo.com will sell children’s toys, a market that has a lot more inherent, and apparent, potential than Fido’s feed. YoYo will aim for young parents looking to get a toy in little Tommy’s hands, and will feature both classic and modern items. It also has YoYo Picks, a staff-curated listing of the hottest toys, and a Toy Finder with multiple filters, so costumers can find that perfect toy for Tommy.

Aside from Wag and YoYo, Quidisi also owns Diapers.com and Soap.com, which sells just what you’d expect from those titles. It certainly owes a lot of its success to its parent company, Amazon, but it’s also taken cues from Amazon and perfected its delivery methods and customer service interaction.
