Citrix mobile collaboration platforms GoToMeeting and Citrix Receiver have been available for Apple iOS users for a while and the Motorola Droid 3 was the first Android smartphone to have both of these apps pre-installed. Now all Android smartphone owners can use GoToMeeting, which lets you participate in online meetings and view presentations remotely.
The Citrix GoToMeeting app is free at the Android Market. The iOS GoToMeeting app has already been downloaded by more than 250,000 iOS users.
To use GoToMeeting on your Android phone you’ll need to be running Android 2.2 and above with a 1Ghz processor or higher.
The app also comes preloaded on the Gingerbread-based Motorola Droid Bionic with Verizon Wireless, which began shipping this week. Motorola Mobility will also be preloading Receiver on its products “regardless of operating system or form factor.”
