Twitter seems to think that Facebook has a serious case of Single White Female. This week, just after Facebook launched its iOS update, Twitter mobile designer Byran Haggerty noticed that the social networking site’s app looked remarkably similar to Twitter’s.

Facebook’s seeming flattery left Haggerty none too pleased. He tweeted the following:

“Seriously Facebook? http://pic.twitter.com/0ifNsdY

He then followed up with: “Ok Facebook, enough with the flattery. http://pic.twitter.com/vSyHdpH.”

It is copying, but what can you do? Imitation is the highest form of flattery, so just accept that as the better service, they’re going to follow your lead
