To meet the global demand for Foursquare ^[1], the location-based social network is adding five new languages to its app.

Foursquare added Bahasa Indonesian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Thai to bring more than 1.5 billion people access to the social network in their own language.

The company added French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish to its arsenal in February and saw even more check-ins and growth.
