Galaxy Tab Release Further Delayed in Australia

Samsung [1] is adding Australia to the list of countries it cannot release its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in because of a patent lawsuit with Apple [2].
Apple claims the Galaxy Tab 10.1 [3] is a copy of the iPad [4]. Samsung agreed to stop selling the tablet in July and modified the device for Appleās approval. Apple says the modifications improved the device slightly, but it still infringes patents. The companies will return to Austrailian court Friday.
Samsung was has also faced difficulty selling the tablet in most of Europe [5] and the U.S. for similar possible patent infringements with Apple.
The Australian debut of the tablet will likely be further delayed until the end of September at the earliest.
