If you’re still using Skype for video conferencing, now might be a good time to check into WebEx. The company just launched a new package called WebEx 8 ^[1], which gives subscribers unlimited videoconferencing for up to eight people for $19 per month, or $15.99 a month with a year subscription. Until now the cheapest option was $49 per month for up to 25 participants ^[2].

WebEx 8 features include:

• Desktop Sharing: Share your computer desktop or just a file with anyone in your meeting. While Skype does offer desktop sharing for a one-on-one video call, you’ll have to buy Skype Premium to use it with several people.
• High Quality Video: Web cam participants are featured dynamically as they speak.
• Recording: Record your meeting so team members can replay it later, or package your meeting like an event and post it on your external web site.
• Integrated Outlook scheduling: Schedule your WebEx via Outlook with visibility to your team’s calendar and easy access to email.
