Customers looking to buy a new tablet overwhelmingly want the Apple iPad, according to a report released Wednesday.
Robert W. Baird & Co., a wealth management firm based in Milwaukee, surveyed 1,114 people between the ages of 22 and 60 and found that 95 percent planned to choose the iPad for their next tablet purchase. The next most popular chose was the HP TouchPad, which 10 percent of respondents selected.
Jason Noland, an author of the report, told The New York Times it was unlikely that any competitors would catch up to Apple’s iPad in the near future.
