Adobe Releases Beta Version of New Web Development Software

Posted By Elizabeth Sile On August 17, 2011 @ 6:21 pm In Business Software | 4 Comments

Adobe [1] released a beta version of its new website creation software, Muse [2], on Monday to the public. The new software differs from Dreamweaver [3], Adobe’s flagship website creation software, in that users do not have to code. Muse was created for graphic designers and others who do not consider themselves web developers.

Mashable reported [4] that the new software was very impressive:

We’ve been playing with Muse for the past two weeks as part of the private beta, and we are impressed with the tool’s functionality and featureset. What differentiates Muse from some other code-free website creation tools is this: the user interface and the design paradigms mimic those from other Adobe Creative Suite applications, namely InDesign.

Read more at Mashable [4], and watch a video of the software on Adobe’s website [5].
