Nexage Sees 50% Growth in Ad Impressions

As consumers move more of their lives and activities to the mobile space, advertisers and marketers are seeing huge growth numbers. Riding the wave is Nexage [1], a mobile ad firm and real-time bidding exchange that has had a 50 percent growth in ad impressions over a three-month period.
These numbers, which equal roughly eight billion ad impressions per month, bode well not just for Nexage but also for publishers and applications developers who are beginning to see the value of pushing advertising through their mobile platforms, notes ReadWriteWeb’s Dan Rowinski.
What’s fueling this growth? In a word: consumers. But Nexage’s client roster is nothing to sneeze at either. The company boast clients such as Rovio (makers of Angry Birds) and relationships with the National Football League and the Associated Press, among others. And despite the impressive three-month growth (from May to July 2011), Ernie Cormier, Nexage president and CEO, says it’s merely a “marker on the road” to bigger things.
