This unusual looking vehicle is Audi’s answer to BMW’s i3 car, the Urban Concept. It’s an electric microcar, designed for crowded city streets. Apparently, the entire roof slides back to let people in and out, which might be handy in some tight urban parking situations. The two passengers sit in a staggered configuration rather than side by side.

A prototype of the car was recently spotted, and video recorded at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. This week, Audi released its sketches of the car, and it plans to display the car itself at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month.

I can’t decide if I think it looks odd-but-cool or just odd. What do you think?
