Social media marketers need to find apps to stay productive on the go, but with over 500,000 apps on the App Store and new ones being released every day, it’s hard to stay on top of them all.

To help, Debbie Hemley from Social Media Examiner compiled a list of 44 useful mobile apps perfect for social media managers and marketers.

Notables from the list include the Analytics App, which consists of 55 social media reports showing data up to 110 rows; Chomp, an app search engine for iPhone and Android; and Dragon Dictation, a voice transcription application that converts voice recordings into text messages.

A new study ^[1] shows that consumers spend 81 minutes per day on mobile apps, and social networking is responsible for 32 percent of overall mobile app usage.
