For businesses looking to pick up a few dozen copies of a certain iOS app for their employees, Apple ^[1] has announced ^[2] volume purchasing and sales support for businesses and organizations. Business owners can now select the apps they want for any number of seats and simply pay with a credit card. Apple has not yet said whether it will dole out bulk discounts, but the company will distribute licenses for each device.

Additionally, the Volume Purchase Program now allows businesses to create and privately purchase custom B2B apps for iOS devices. With the help of third-party developers, businesses can address specific business processes and provide custom interfaces with customized apps for a company’s employees or users.

Previously, Apple only made volume purchasing available for educational institutions.
