Apple could be cooking up something good for users this summer. Rumor has it that the company will release a new MacBook and Mac mini relatively soon. This is in addition to an earlier announcement that the company would also be releasing a MacBook Air and Mac Pro models.
Although this news has not been confirmed, Boy Genius Report’s Todd Haselton says the Mac mini could come as soon as early August. Citing the blog 9to5 Mac, Haselton also reports that the MacBook will have Thunderbolt I/O ports and a faster processor. The new Mini will come in standard models as well as a server model.
But as with any rumor, the wind is apt to shift. Still, one indication of new products coming down the pike could be dwindling availability, as was discovered with the MacBook Air. Users might want to check the Mac store to see if this is the case with the MacBook and Mini.
