Offline Labs, a young start-up comprised of ex-Slide developers and $1 million in rapidly acquired seed money, has now released its new product: Sōsh.

Developed under the codename Project Dragōn, Sōsh provides curated activities with the goal to provide an ultimate online guide to local activities . Bridging the gap between social media and real life interaction, Sōsh decides the best activities available in a local area via an algorithm based on user interest and in-house curation. Most importantly, Sōsh taps into social networks on Twitter and Facebook to display what followers and friends are interested in doing in your area, opening an avenue of activity planning within an immediate friends circle.

The website is in invite-only beta (with admission on a rolling basis) and only available within the San Francisco area. It is also on a browser platform only, but is working to expand into the mobile arena to allow for activities to be curated via exact location.
