
Personal financial service website Yodlee announced that is has crossed the 30 million users milestone. The company, founded in 1999, offers a suite of financial solutions that power many large financial institutions and portals, including Bank of America, Fidelity, and American Express.
Yodlee is best known for providing the back-end programming to personal financial website Mint.com, which was bought by Intuit in 2009. The company also forged a partnership with Y Combinator in 2010 that provides incubating financial technology all YC-funded start-ups. Yodlee has also recently entered into mobile functionality with it’s FinApp Store, a service which offers open API for developers to create apps for the company’s various products.
10 years and $100 million in funding in the making, Yodlee is still going strong. The company counts 5 of the top 10 US banks as loyal customers and continues to be the strongest personal financial back end provider in the world. With 45 US patents to their name, the next step for Yodlee is full of options.
