
If you think the copy-to-clipboard-paste-to-search-box process is too cumbersome, Microsoft has a new feature for you: Apple iPad users can draw a circle or “lasso” around any word or phrase on a web page with their fingers to start an immediate search on that term.
The move came about because, “From our research, we know that many searches are inspired by things people see on the web,” Microsoft explained in its blog. The company also claims that lassoing can save users nine steps.
If you want to check it out, you’ll have to download the latest Bing update from the App Store. Sounds pretty handy to us.
