According to a recent Forrester estimate, there will be 50 million tablet users worldwide by the end of 2012. Onswipe, a platform that makes it remarkably easy for publishers of all sizes to make their content and ads beautiful on the iPad and other tablets, is coming out of beta and will be available to the public reports Alexia Tsotsis for TechCrunch.
Onswipe is launching with big partners such as Marie Claire, Slate and Forbes and advertisers such as American Express and Sprint. Onswipe promises clients touch device optimization in three minutes just by picking and customizing a layout, importing content and embedding a piece of javascript into their sites. The service is free and Onswipe cashes in by taking a share of revenue from its ad platform.
