Do you like Facebook? Maybe you do, but you’re tired of the way the service is constantly making alterations, so that you barely have time to learn one new configuration before they’ve moved on to another? This time Facebook has made some changes that are worth taking the time to learn about, especially if you run a small business.
Among the new features we like:
- An option to “Recommend this Place,” that happy customers can use to send new business to your store or restaurant;
- A Wikipedia-like community building of place pages where users are asked to contribute information about places;
- New resources for page building;
- Ad Account Groups, which allow different businesses, or different individuals within businesses, to share information about an ad account, making it easier to co-brand or otherwise work together as advertisers.
