If you’ve ever been drowning in emails, you know the feeling of not being able to respond to messages in a timely manner. A new service called courteous.ly shows people your email load so they can consider when is the best time to send a message, or understand why you haven’t answered a query.
The service, which only works with Gmail, opens mailboxes to see how many messages they contain. You can tell Courteously what it should monitor, such as how many unread messages, the total number of messages, or how much mail you’ve sent recently. Users can also tell it to look at subject lines and dates for certain messages, but Courteous.ly says it never reads actual messages.
