Not sure what those funny-looking tic-tac-toe symbols are on Twitter [1]? Want to try your hand at blogging but learning WordPress seems daunting? TechCrunch‘s Rip Empson pointing out the virtues of Grovo [2], a virtual repository of short videos that help the less tech savvy figure out how to use scads of various web site features, tools and layers. In March, Grovo added premium content for more business-specific web skills such as how to use Basecamp [3], work with Facebook Pages [4] or use Google Analytics [5].
Grovo also just announced it has closed its first round of seed funding and has recruited several companies, such as InDinero [6], ReTargeter [7], Aviary [8]and Hy.ly [9], which will embed Grovo’s video lessons on their own sites to educate and retain users. Read more at TechCrunch [10].
