PC World has an interesting report about how the upcoming RIM PlayBook tablet is really two device sin one. It is a general purpose tablet but it is also a business device. To be a business device, RIM says, you have to use your BlackBerry phone as a conduit to access e-mail and corporate services. PC World wonders if that is a good thing. Essentially, it means your IT does not have to manage another device on the network. But it is also a little odd.
