LCD Price-Fixing Gets Heated

LCD price-fixing is heating up as a new indictment comes from the DoJ.

PC Magazine has posted a story about the latest development in the LCD price-fixing scam. An executive at HannStar has been indicted by the DoJ. Shades of a certain Matt Damon movie?

According to the article:

“The president of Taiwanese display maker HannStar was indicted Thursday for his participation in a global price fixing scheme for thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels.The indictment was filed in San Francisco district court and charges Ding Hui Joe, also known as David Joe, with conspiracy to suppress and eliminate competition by fixing the prices of TFT-LCD panels.”
