Businesswomen who travel will soon be able to choose from a prettier assortment of carryons. This spring, a number of companies will sell laptop bags in new styles designed specifically for female executives. Mobile Edge’s line of laptop bags includes a faux-croc briefcase (center, $180), the classy Madison tote (bottom, $200), and an assortment of candy-colored faux-croc portfolios. Sumdex is expanding its She Rules line with six new computer bags. Targus is selling five computer cases for women, with names such as Jackie, a slim leather tote in red or black, and Katherine, a gray and black bag. Samsonite has plans to sell its own women’s laptop bags (top, $80-$150) in bright hues with colorful and patterned interiors.
